The Savage Gear 3D Rat’s life-like design calls in gamefish from a great distance. This bait is considered by many to be a “wake bait” which allows the lure to ride at the surface of the water, creating a V-shaped wake behind it when being retrieved. Because these baits are lipped, you can also create a diving action by retrieving the lure faster.
