Originally designed as a bait for big largemouth bass and musky, many south Florida anglers have adopted this bluegill lure as a go-to when fishing in brackish water estuaries and freshwater systems that hold inshore fish. This particular bait has been an absolute killer when fishing for trophy snook and juvenile tarpon at spillways in Florida. They simply can’t resist the bulky profile that this bait puts out in the water!
Note: This is the original version of the line thru bluegill by Savage Gear. Since the launch of the Line Thru Pulse Tail Bluegill, Savage Gear has discontinued the production of this model, making this bait extremely hard to come by!
