Yohan Custom Lures was founded in 2014 by Yohandris Lazo, with the support of his friend Carlos De La Fuente. Before venturing into lure-making, Yohandris had been a portrait and landscape painter from a young age. In 2012, he combined his passion for art and fishing by carving his first bait from balsa wood.

Yohan Custom Lures begin as a hand-drawn sketch. From there, a master lure is meticulously carved from wood, followed by the creation of a silicone mold to produce resin copies of the master. Each resin bait undergoes individual testing to ensure the desired stability and sink ratio. Finally, all lures are hand-painted and finished with a high-gloss clear coat, maintaining the brand’s commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
